Around this time of the year, the vines' aspect changes significantly, week after week. After the blossoming, tiny grapes have now replaced the flowers. Despite the heavy rains that slowed the plants down, every day of sun counts and allows the vineyard to progress and the grapes to grow.
Lodovico Tamburi (lodo_cucina on social media) is passionate about food and organises dinners in his "home restaurant". To celebrate the arrival of summer, he chose Matilde Prosecco Extra Dry: "the combination of the fish-based menu I had in mind with their prosecco has created a truly perfect pairing ☺️ My friends and the relaxed atmosphere did the rest!"
Despite a rainy and rather cold last few weeks, our vines keep growing, and have reached the phase of blossoming. From buds to flowers and, in a few weeks' time, from flowers to grapes... Matilde 2024 is starting to look more concrete.
Life goes on in the vineyard. While the vines are growing, the future bunches have appeared. Today, where this summer we will see grapes, we can observe the buds waiting for the right time to blossom.
